【研究】美國潔淨能源領域綠色就業近年增長趨勢

美國Pew慈善信託基金會(Pew Charitable Trusts, PCT)針對1998 到2007年間的美國在潔淨能源上的綠色就業狀況進行分析，發表報告The Clean Energy Economy，發現儘管缺乏政府支持下，仍然有顯著成長。鼓勵各州政府積極推動。

這篇報告看起來是札實的經濟分析，在前段先對本研究中的綠色就業做出清楚定義，分析的內容則限定在潔淨能源的領域，因此其綠色就業的機會，沒有像其他研究預測的那麼膨脹。

“a clean energy economy generates jobs, businesses and investments while expanding clean energy production, increasing energy efficiency, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, waste and pollution, and conserving water and other natural resources.”
一種潔淨能源的經濟，在擴展節能能源生產、增加能源效益、減少溫室氣體排放、減少廢棄物與汙染，節約用水與其他自然資源上，能促進就業、商業與投資。

(2) Energy Efficiency, 能源效益
(3) Environmentally Friendly Production, 對環境友善的生產(製程、原料...)
(4) Conservation and Pollution Mitigation, 節約與減少污染
